  • Animal Defenders International (ADI) www.ad-international.org With offices in London, San Francisco and Bogota, Animal Defenders International (ADI) is a major international campaigning group, lobbying to protect animals in entertainment, replacement of animals in experiments; worldwide traffic in endangered species; education, vegetarianism; factory farming; pollution and conservation. ADI also rescues and relocates animals in distress worldwide.   • International Otter Survival Fund: Isle of Skye: http://www.otter.org: We specialise in otters and take in animals from all over Scotland and northern England. We can also provide help and advice for people outwith this area.

  • National Animal Rescue Association. Most volunteers who undertake this work are not involved in welfare matters
